ENVIRONMENTAL PROJECT GEOLOGIST – Groundwater Management Associates, Inc. (GMA) anticipates filling a project-level geologist position available in our Greenville, NC office in May of 2021. Minimum requirements are a 4-year geology degree (B.S.) from an accredited college or university, a minimum of two years of work experience in the environmental or water resources field (with project management experience or ability to quickly move up to management level), a clean driving record and legal history, the ability to travel inside the Carolinas with occasional overnight stays, the capability of working both outdoors and in an office setting, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. The candidate must also have report writing proficiency (in Microsoft Word).
GMA will give additional consideration for individuals that are Licensed Geologists in North Carolina (L.G.), previous work experience, training, or certification with geographic information system (GIS) software, groundwater computer modeling, hydrogeology coursework, OSHA 24/40 hour HAZWOPER, and graduate school coursework or degree.
